Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani, who is among the most well-known and wealthy Reggae singers was born on Friday, 26 February 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He starred in the iconic film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. Like Father Like Son and several singles including Judge Not With Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap is (remix) as well as Sensimelia each of which contributed to his increasing popularity among the new wave of reggae musicians. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces along with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue a hit cover version that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue. Marley was a part of the Midem show (an international music festival) that was the first time it was performed in Miami. Marley did a performance in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live in 36 different countries. Marley was a target in an auction war. In 1997, he signed to Gee Street/V2 Rec
